ED EXPERT is an Electronic Health Record as well as a comprehensive Emergency Department management tool. ED EXPERT designed for use with pen tablets running Microsoft Windows. ED EXPERT can be used on any Microsoft Windows computer including touch screen as well as regular mouse equipped computers.
As
the name implies, ED EXPERT is a true expert system. The program
presents a series of questions prompted by the physical exam and
each patient complaint. Questions presented are generated by
answers given to previous questions. Questions follow branched
chain algorithms designed to fulfill both medico legal and billing
requirements in order to minimize liability and maximize
reimbursement.
